What is Dr. Rayel’s credential?

Dr. Rayel, a Harvard-trained psyciatrist, has been a practitioner of emotional intelligence and has applied emotional and social skills in his daily practice. He has written several books namely: A 31-Day Success Principles for Kids and Teens, A 31-Day Positive Affirmations for Kids and Teens, First Aid to Mental Illness, among others.

As MUN faculty, he has supervised and has given lectures to trainees and health care professionals on various mental health topics.

Dr. Rayel is one of the very few psychiatrists with both training and board certification in forensic and geriatric psychiatry. Currently, he is a Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with subspecialty certifications in forensic and geriatric psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine. He's also certified in Advanced Clinical Psychopharmacology by the American Society of Clinical Pharmacology(ASCP).
